Terms of Service
Effective August 19, 2026
These are the terms for using Abledo — the app, the website, and the Android app. Using Abledo in any of those forms means agreeing to them. See the Privacy Policy for what data is involved.
The service
Abledo is a task manager that works fully offline with no account, and optionally syncs across your devices if you sign in with Google. Some features — team boards, premium appearance themes, AI-assisted task capture — are limited to signed-in or paying accounts; the free tier is a genuinely usable product on its own, not a demo.
Your account
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account, including anything a team you’re part of does with a task you can see or edit.
- You need to be old enough in your country to agree to these terms yourself, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes.
Your content
Whatever you put into Abledo — task titles, notes, attachments — stays yours. We don’t claim ownership of it, and we don’t use it for anything beyond running the app for you (or, for a shared team task, for the members of that team). You’re responsible for having the right to store and share anything you attach or type in, including on a shared team board.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops to the Free plan — nothing already stored is deleted for lapsing.
- Prices are shown before you subscribe and may change going forward; a change never applies to a period you’ve already paid for.
- Refunds aren’t automatic — contact us at the address below and we’ll look at it.
Acceptable use
Using Abledo, you agree not to:
- Use it to store or share anything illegal, or content you don’t have the right to.
- Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or another account.
- Use a team board to harass or abuse another member.
- Resell or redistribute the service without our agreement.
We can suspend or remove access for an account that does any of this.
Availability
Abledo is provided on a best-effort basis. The local-first design means your own tasks keep working with no connection at all, but sync, sign-in, team boards, AI capture and billing all depend on third-party services (Google, Stripe, our hosting) that can occasionally be unavailable outside our control.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Abledo is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law where you live allows. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using or being unable to use the service. Nothing here limits any right the law gives you that can’t be waived.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app changes; the effective date above moves when they do. Continuing to use Abledo after a change means accepting the update.
