The Focus page runs a classic work/break cycle: a focus session, then a short break, with a longer break after every few sessions (four, by default). Open it from the sidebar or the Focus tab.
- Press Start to begin a focus session — the ring drains as time passes.
- When a session ends, Abledo plays a short chime and (if you've allowed notifications) shows one, then moves into a break.
- Breaks start automatically by default; focus sessions wait for you to press Start again, so you're never dropped back into work without meaning to be.
- Skip moves to the next phase early — a skipped focus session still credits the time you actually spent, not the full length.
Making it yours
Open Timer settings to change the length of a focus session, a short break, and a long break, how many sessions happen between long breaks, and whether each phase should start on its own.
Your week in focus
Time from finished focus sessions adds up over the week, shown right on the page. The first time you open Abledo after a week ends, you'll see a short summary: how long you focused, whether that's up on the week before (with the exact percentage), or — only after two weeks of it dropping in a row — a gentle nudge to get back into it.
Focus sessions count toward the same XP and badges as completing tasks and using the per-task timer — look for the level and badge row in the sidebar.
