Give a task a due time (not just a date) and a reminder option appears for it. Allow notifications once, from the button beside the due time, and Abledo will notify you the moment it's due.
Two ways it can reach you
- While Abledo is open in a tab or window, anywhere, it schedules the reminder itself.
- If you're signed in, Abledo can also send a real push notification that arrives even with the app fully closed — on Android this works identically whether you're using the installed app or a plain browser tab, since they share the same notification permission.
A reminder only ever fires once per task, on the device that's set up to receive it. Rescheduling a task's due time re-arms its reminder.
