Light and dark mode are a plain switch in Settings → Appearance, independent of everything else — it follows your system by default until you choose one yourself.
On top of that, a few photographic themes are available as a paid extra: a full background photo with the rest of the interface tuned to stay readable over it, rather than a simple color swap.
